Meet the team

  • ALEXANDRE TSUKAMOTO

Ale is the owner and head coach at Kazoku. A lifelong student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he's passionate about the healthy lifestyle and mindset that training brings. What drew him to the art? The unique balance of movement, control, and calm under pressure, both mental and physical.

A committed competitor, Ale now channels that discipline into coaching. He finds real purpose in helping others grow building confidence, resilience, and strength on and off the mats. His main goal is to change people’s lives through martial arts.

You’ll find Ale leading both adult and kids classes.

You will catch him taking our kids, no gi and some adults gi classes

  • Eduardo

Eduardo began training Jiu Jitsu in Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2013 at just 14 years old. His passion for the art quickly grew, by blue belt he was already assisting and teaching.

Since moving to Australia in 2017, he’s taught full-time across several academies, most recently in Melbourne. Promoted to brown belt in 2022, Eduardo now brings his experience and energy to our Tuesday and Thursday 12pm lunch classes.

  • KIDS HELPERS

We’re lucky to have a great team of helpers on the mats.

To make sure our little ones get the attention they need.
